LEADERSHIP

We provide leadership and support in the development of policy, planning, and program development for recreation professionals and those working in community service departments throughout the province. Our organization makes every effort to ensure the province benefits from best practices, standards and guidelines while keeping the health interests of New Brunswickers a priority. Learn more ›

EDUCATION

We educate through various means and provide professional development programs to recreation professionals. These programs include, but are not limited to; workshops, seminars, webinars, certification programs, and our annual provincial conference. We build partnerships between, the Government of New Brunswick, local governments, likeminded and cross sectorial associations and national partners to benefit not just the provincial recreation professionals, but New Brunswick communities as a whole. ADVOCACY

We act as the voice for recreation in New Brunswick. We identify and prioritize issues of concern to recreation professionals. We develop and coordinate strategies to address those concerns, as well as, establish working groups to implement campaigns and take actions to address these concerns. We also ensure that our members are informed of these issues, and the steps taken to address them. Learn more ›
